Here is a rundown of what is
open and shut for Labor Day on Monday,
Sept. 3:
- All banks will be closed on Canada Labour Day - first monday of September.
- All branches of the Niagara Falls and Fort Erie open libraries will shut.
- Canada Post's workplaces and mail conveyance won't be working on Monday.
- Curbside waste, reusing and organics accumulation will proceed on its general calendar on Monday and the Bridge Street Landfill site in Fort Erie will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Niagara Square Shopping Center will be open on Monday from twelve to 5 p.m.
- Canada One Factory Outlets will be open on Monday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Most supermarkets will be open amid the occasion from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. counting the Food Basics on McLeod and the Zehrs Food Plus on Morrison. Chippawa Foodland will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. also; the LCBO satellite will be free too.
- Niagara Falls IGA on Morrison will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The Sobeys on Portage Road will be open 24 hours.
- LCBO stores and Beer Store areas in Fort Erie and Niagara Falls will shut.
- The Wine Rack Tasting Center on Dorchester Road will be open on Monday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Niagara Transit transports will keep running on an occasion plan on Monday.
